The history of "Let’s Love” ministry has it’s beginning in 2001, when Dmitriy Grischuk along with a group of brothers and sisters began monthly visits to children in the orphanage in Chasyv Yar (Artyomovsky region). Dmitriy met those kids at the children’s camp "Emerald City” in summer of 2001; he was taking part in the ministry of Worldwide Youth Camps. The same year they began visiting children at the orphanage №4 in Donetsk (Azotny settlement).
In 2002 the Children’ Ministry Mission (that was the first name of ministry to orphans) begins going to the orphanage in Uglegorsk.
In 2003 the team of the Children’ Ministry Mission begins going to the orphanage №1 in Donetsk.
In 2004 Dmitriy Grischuk is offered to be a president of the "Jeremiah’s Hope” (Steve’s Taliaferro and Andrew’s Kelly ministry). From that time on the Children’ Ministry Mission together with the "Jeremiah’s Hope” were serving orphans at the orphanages in Snezhnoye and Makeyevka, at shelters in Donetsk and Avdeyevka.
In 2006 the "Jeremiah’s Hope” mission moves to Mariupol and Dmitriy Grischuk takes position of teacher and later on an Academic dean at the Ukrainian Bible Institute (UBI) where he works today. At this time arose the question of continuing the work for orphans in Donetsk, Makeyevka and Uglegorsk . The 2006 year is the time when the "Let’s Love” mission begins. In the summer of this year was constituent meeting where more than twenty preachers, children’s ministers and missionaries decided to register the "Let’s Love” Donetsk Regional Charity Fond. Kolchik Valery was elected as the Executive Director and Dovzhenko Eugene as Deputy Director. The renewed team was entered by Arthur Ohanov, Zabrudsky Sergey, Piletsky Alexander, Dovzhenko Anna and others. Grischuk Dmitriy was elected as the Chairman of Supervisory Board.
At the present time "Let’s Love” fund is:
- More than fifteen constant members of the team and tens volunteers;
- Weekly ministry to more than 60 orphans in Makeyevka, Uglegorsk and Donetsk;
- Constant benevolence help to more than 700 orphans (shoes, notebooks, clothes, medicine);
- Yearly health improving camps "Little Pilgrims” where more than 100 kids got their health improved;
- Ministry of the "The School of Life” Youth Center (Donetsk);
- Construction of the "Welcome Home” - shelter for orphanage graduates;
- The work on the "Let’s Make It” program of professional training and possible employment of the orphanage graduates;
- Monthly youth meetings for young Christians in Donetsk and Donetsk region;
- Common ministry along with tens Church of Christ congregations in Ukraine and America along with missions, funds, community organizations and hundreds faithful Christians whose hart is open for ministry to orphans;
- Deep trust in God’s mercy, courageous
faith in God’s craft and unlimited love for God and His children.
